DDP Data Pull connections are initiated as part of a contracted engagement, not via self-service. To start a new connection or restore an existing one:
- Confirm engagement scope. A signed Statement of Work with Darling Design Presence governs what data is read, how it is used, and how long it is retained.
- Receive the authorization link. Darling Design Presence sends a one-time Intuit OAuth authorization link to the QuickBooks Online account administrator.
- Sign in and approve. The administrator signs in to QuickBooks Online and approves the requested permissions on the standard Intuit consent screen.
- Connection completes. Darling Design Presence stores the resulting refresh token in encrypted local storage and begins scheduled data pulls per the engagement.
