1. Who we are

This software (“DDP Data Pull,” or “the app”) is provided by Darling Design Presence, a trade name of The Farm at Catawissa Creek, located in Catawissa, Pennsylvania. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean this entity. References to “you” and “your” mean the QuickBooks Online merchant or merchant-authorized user who connects the app to a QuickBooks Online company.

2. What the app does

DDP Data Pull connects to your QuickBooks Online company via Intuit’s official OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Once connected, the app reads accounting data (invoices, bills, customers, vendors, chart of accounts, and related transaction records) so we can produce the financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses agreed to in your separate consulting engagement with us.

The app does not replace QuickBooks Online. It does not modify your books unless you have specifically authorized a write operation in writing as part of an active engagement (see Section 4).

3. Authorization and scope of access

By installing DDP Data Pull and completing the QuickBooks Online OAuth connection, you grant us permission to access the data scopes you approved during the OAuth consent screen. We will not request scopes broader than what is necessary to perform the work agreed to in your consulting engagement.

You can review the granted scopes at any time inside QuickBooks Online under Apps → My Apps → DDP Data Pull → Settings.

4. Read-only by default

The app operates in read-only mode by default. It pulls data from your QuickBooks Online company; it does not push, modify, or delete records.

Any operation that would write to your QuickBooks Online company (creating an invoice, posting a journal entry, modifying a customer record, etc.) requires per-task written approval from you before it is performed. We do not store standing write authorization. Each write operation is reviewed and approved individually.

5. Data handling

No third-party sharing. We do not sell, rent, lease, share, or otherwise disclose your QuickBooks Online data to any third party. The data is accessed only by Darling Design Presence personnel directly assigned to your engagement, and only for the purpose of delivering the work agreed to in that engagement.

No AI training. We do not use your QuickBooks Online data — in whole, in part, in aggregate, or in derived form — to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, whether ours or a third party’s.

Storage. Data accessed via the app is processed transiently for report generation. Where data is retained beyond a single processing run (for example, to produce period-over-period comparisons), it is stored on encrypted storage controlled by Darling Design Presence and accessible only to assigned personnel.

Security. We follow standard practices for credential storage (OAuth tokens stored encrypted at rest, never logged in plain text, never committed to version control) and standard practices for data handling (least-privilege access, encrypted transport via TLS, no transmission of QuickBooks data to systems outside our direct control).

6. Retention and deletion

When your consulting engagement with us ends, we will delete your QuickBooks Online data — including all stored copies, derived reports containing raw transaction data, and OAuth tokens — within thirty (30) days of the engagement termination date.

Upon written request from you at any time during the engagement, we will delete any specific data set you identify within thirty (30) days of the request.

7. Your right to revoke

You may revoke the app’s access to your QuickBooks Online company at any time, for any reason, without notice to us. To revoke:

  • Open QuickBooks Online.
  • Navigate to Apps → My Apps.
  • Find DDP Data Pull and select Disconnect.

Revocation immediately stops the app from accessing your QuickBooks Online company. Within thirty (30) days of revocation, we will delete any retained data as described in Section 6.

8. License grant

Subject to the terms of this agreement and the terms of any separate consulting engagement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DDP Data Pull solely in connection with the QuickBooks Online company you authorized during the OAuth consent flow.

You may not: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app; (b) use the app to access QuickBooks Online companies you are not authorized to access; (c) use the app in violation of Intuit’s Developer Terms of Service; (d) sublicense, resell, or redistribute the app.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Reports and analyses produced using data accessed through the app are provided as part of a consulting engagement and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed accountant, tax professional, or attorney.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to your use of the app is limited to the fees paid to us under the consulting engagement during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

10. Changes, governing law, contact

We may update this agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active engagement clients in writing before they take effect.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Questions about this agreement, requests for data deletion, or notice of any concern should be directed to:
